Stylist goes on tour to help animal shelter

An Idaho Falls stylist is about to embark on a 50-state tour.

Zachary DiBella is one of only three stylists making the trip. They will be a part of BarkAID‘s third annual tour.

The stylists are donating their time and raising funds for local animal shelters.

The goal is to provide at least 50 haircuts in 50 states in 50 days.

BarkAID’s tour stops in Idaho Falls at the Defining Line Salon on September 11.

The suggested donation per haircut is $20.

“But whatever someone is willing to give, 100 percent of that will go to the Snake River Animal Shelter in Idaho Falls,” said DiBella.

He is hoping to get 150 haircuts in Idaho Falls.

A donor has agreed to match each dollar raised that day.

The salon is also selling lollipops to help cover the travel expenses. Each $10 bundle will pay for 50 miles of the planned trip.

You can schedule your haircut with the Defining Line Salon at (208) 523-2229 .
