Local kids get hearing aids thanks to donors
You know them as the famous family of singers, but the Osmonds also have a foundation to help the hearing impaired.
Thursday , two kids in Idaho Falls received hearing aids at Phillips Hearing Center, provided by the Olive Osmond Hearing Fund.
7-year-old Mckenzie Orchard was fitted for her pink hearing aids. She chose the color to match everything in her closet!
Tevyn Bell also received a hearing aid thanks to the fund.
“Hearing aids can range anywhere from $2,500 for a pair all the way up to $7,000,” said Jason Curtis, owner of Phillips Hearing Center. “It’s really a benefit for these families that just don’t have the means and we go ahead and provide it for them.”
This Saturday , all proceeds from the “Making a Difference” marathon at Snake River Landing in Idaho Falls will go toward the Olive Osmond Hearing Fund to provide even more children with hearing aids.
