Man arrested on sexual abuse, lewd conduct charges

A 24-year-old Idaho Falls man was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for lewd conduct with a minor under 16 and sexual abuse of a child under 16.

Idaho Falls Police said Remington Capps has been under investigation since an initial report of lewd conduct in October. According to reports, police received information Capps had inappropriate contact with a 15-year-old boy during a June house party in the 1500 block of Richards.

Capps was booked into the Bonneville County jail.
