Nev. sheriff: Murder suspect may be headed to Driggs
Carson City, Nev. Sheriff Ken Furlong said murder suspect Michael Dylan Brentlinger may be headed to Driggs where, according to his Facebook page, he had previously resided.
Brentlinger is accused of shooting his ex-girlfriend and killing her father. Deputies responded to the shooting early Saturday morning in Carson City. Deputies say when they arrived to the house they found a 19-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the head and a dead man who was identified as her father. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital, where her condition at this time is unknown.
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is looking for the suspect, who is said to be armed and dangerous.
Detectives believe the shooting is the result of a domestic conflict. The suspect is believed to have shot his ex-girlfriend with a .45-caliber semi-automatic handgun. They say he fled the scene in a 2002 white Chevrolet Cavalier with Nevada license plate 948-XAT.
