Fire destroys garage

Firefighters are trying to determine the cause of a blaze that destroyed a garage in Idaho Falls over the weekend.

Fire officials were called to a home on Sangria Court just after 4:30 a.m. Sunday.

Flames were coming out of the garage when firefighters arrived. Everyone made it out of the house safely, but the damage was extensive. A car was badly burned, and a part of the house connected to the garage was also damage.

Firefighters estimate there was $150,000 structural damage and $50,000 to other property.
