Portneuf Home Health Care to close
Portneuf Home Health Care will close its doors.
Portneuf Medical Center and Baton Rouge, La.-based Amedisys jointly operated the facility.
A specific closure date was not disclosed.
The facility helps mostly elderly patients recover from ongoing conditions like diabetes or heart problems in their homes.
Portneuf Medical Center spokesperson Brenda Stanley said Friday the health center is not directly operated by the hospital and its workers are not hospital employees.
The medical center will continue to work with other home health providers in the community.
