Jet ski collision kills Idaho Falls man
An Idaho Falls man died from injuries sustained in a jet ski collision on Sunday.
Sgt. Jeff Edwards of the Bonneville County Sheriff Office said Lakoda Stommel, 22, and Matthew Harmon, 28, of Idaho Falls were riding their jet skis on the Ririe Reservoir near the Blacktail Boat Ramp when they collided.
Edwards said Stommel was reported to have a heart attack and was revived before being sent to the hospital by ambulance. He later passed away.
The investigation is ongoing, Edward said and both were wearing a life jacket.
