Natural Grocers helps local organization

During the month of June, Natural Grocers will be asking customers for donations at checkout.

All the proceeds go to Help Inc, a nonprofit that specializes in child abuse prevention. The organization offers on-site and in-home support programs for abused children and their non-offending caregivers. Specialized social worker Andrea Wright said the organization wouldn’t be able to provide medical examinations, therapy and other services without support from the community.

“”Even if you don’t have a child, this is your community and it’s the best way to invest in the future of the community and make Idaho Falls a successful place,” said Wright. “A successful community starts with healthy children, growing up in a safe place and also having the resources in place to be able to cope and deal with issues and move forward.”

Natural Grocers will accept donations until the end of June and will match up to $10,000 in proceeds.
