Fireworks stands open for business
Tuesday was the first official day for selling summer fireworks.
Not all shops are open yet, but TNT Fireworks stands are open for business.
The operators of the stand in Idaho Falls said they have a few new showers and family packs this year.
Rules are pretty much the same as past years, and TNT managers said everything they sell is legal in the area. They said this year has already started off with a bang.
“We had a gangbuster day,” said Troy Snarr on Wednesday. “Last year was our first year. This is our second year of doing it. Yesterday we quadrupled our day of what we had last year the first day.”
Fireworks will be sold through the Fourth of July.
Although most stands only sell legal fireworks, check with your city and county for specific rules.
