Four men arrested on drug charges after traffic stop

Pocatello police arrested four men after a routine traffic stop at 1200 McKinley at about 1:35 a.m. Monday.

According to police, an officer stopped a car for an equipment violation. A K-9 was called to the scene and alerted police to drugs in the car.

A hand search by officers recovered a handgun and a small amount of meth and marijuana. The handgun was reported stolen in Idaho Falls.

Ridge Allen Parsons, 18, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon without a permit and possession of a controlled substance.

Marcos D. Stevenson, 18, was charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.

Brendon Nichols,19, and Justin Ray Gilgen, 25, were charged with possession of a controlled substance.
