St. Anthony City Council approves Rotary Park

The St. Anthony Rotary Club is looking to spruce up the city. One way it says that can happen is with the addition of a Rotary Park.

The City Council recently approved phase two of the project. The park will include a flag pole with the Rotary symbol around it, benches, a sidewalk, shrubs and flowers. It will be located outside the city offices.

“We wanted a more accessible place for the public and something better looking. It was the City Council that named it Rotary Park because we were the ones doing the work there,” said Cindy Miller, president of the club.

The Rotary Club said it will take about two years to complete the project. The park was paid for with money from the club’s project fund and two private donations.
