Idaho Falls inks deal with INL
The Idaho Falls City Council has approved an interconnection agreement between the Idaho National Laboratory and Idaho Falls Power on Thursday.
Idaho Falls Power Manager Jackie Flowers said INL plans to build a new solar bank at 750 University Blvd. The agreement will help monitor how its electricity production would interact with city supply.
The city has similar agreements with other residents who have power generators at their homes.
