Call centers are moving into Rexburg offering hundreds of new jobs, and students are the centers’ main target.
Students are their main target because many of them are bilingual, which is a huge asset for these companies.
“Businesses are providing jobs for the students and I think that is our mainstay right now. We have such a great population of great workers, businesses realize that, industry realizes that and we have a lot of business services, industry services that want to employ students,” says Donna Benfield, president and CEO of the Rexburg Chamber or Commerce.
