Storage company expands in Rexburg
Monkey Bar Storage broke ground in Rexburg Tuesday in an effort to become the largest garage organizing company in the world.
The company has already expanded to 46 states across the country and seven provinces in Canada. The 12,000-square-foot facility will be the companies second facility in Rexburg. The new building will house corporate staff and distribution services for the western United States. Although Monkey Bar Storage has had great success in other parts of the state, including Boise, managers said Rexburg has proven to be a great place for the newest location.
“It’s all about people. We have a great product, but the people are what really makes it grow,” said Jared Newman, the president and owner. “You can’t find a better place than Rexburg, Idaho. With BYU-Idaho and the good businesses in the community that this is, you can’t find anything better.”
The company has been a great supporter of BYU-I students and plans to employ more students when its new facility opens at the end of November.
