Emergency drill underway in Jackson

Emergency personnel in Jackson and Teton County spent Wednesday conducting an emergency drill.

“The storyline that we’re working on is a threat — a radiological threat — and they’re actually searching for radiological materials, which eventually leads to a scenario up at the airport that results in a simulated mass casualty incident,” said Rich Ochs, the county’s emergency operations coordinator.

The county worked with the Department of Homeland to develop the drill.
