American Falls man dies in crash

An American Falls man died in a one-car crash five miles west of Chubbuck early Saturday.

Idaho State Police said Skyler Whitnah, 22 was driving west on Interstate 86 in a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt around 1 a.m.. Whitnah went off the left shoulder, came back on the roadway, overcorrected and went off the right side of the road.

Whitnah was thrown from the car when it rolled. ISP said he was not wearing his seat belt. He was pronounced dead at the crash.

Police are investigating the crash.

The wreck did not block traffic.
