Renovations prohibit early voting

Renovations to the elections office in Bonneville County have prohibited early voting for few weeks. However you can still request an absentee ballot by mail.

There are many reasons to be an absentee voter.

“Some people prefer to have their ballots sent to them at home, that’s where the mail absentee comes in. People who have a difficult time going out or, some people just do not understand what is on the ballot, so they prefer to have a ballot sent to them so they can research the information in the comfort of their home,” said Penny Manning, Bonneville County elections supervisor.

Madison County is also offering absentee voting, while Bannock and Bingham counties are offering early voting along with absentee voting.
