Convenience stores burglarized

The Idaho Falls Police Department is looking into two separate convenience store burglaries that occurred over the weekend.

Police responded to the 700 block of Holmes Avenue around 12:45 a.m. Saturday for a burglary alarm at Speedi Mart.

Police found that someone had broken into the store and stolen cigarettes.

Around 1 a.m. Sunday morning, police were called to a burglary at the Tesoro in the 900 block of John Adams. Someone had broken into the store and stolen cigarettes and beer.

The Tesoro store was broken into earlier this month as well. In that incident, cash and beer were stolen.
