Coffee shops, floral store burglarized in Idaho Falls

Idaho Falls police said three coffee shops were burglarized or attempted to be burglarized overnight.

Police reports said a burglar alarm was triggered at Java Express at 1250 W. Broadway around 3:30 a.m. It went off again at 4:20 a.m. Nothing was taken.

Police discovered at 5 a.m. a break-in at the Java Express at 2139 E. 17th St. But nothing was reported stolen, they said.

At 5:20 a.m., someone broke into the Morning Grind at 1520 E. 17th St. and stole cash.

Staker Floral also reported their store on E. 17th street was burglarized. A cash register was taken, they said. It was reported to police at 8:30 a.m.

Police said there are no suspects at this time.

They ask if anyone with information or seeing anyone near these facilities overnight to call Idaho Falls Police at 529-1200 or Crimestoppers at 522-1983.
