Suicide Prevention Hotline looking for volunteers

The Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline is looking for volunteers to help the hotline in ways other than being on the phone.

The hotline is looking for ambassadors across the state. Nina Leary, volunteer coordinator, said anyone who is interested can find the form online here: idahosuicideprevention.org/volunteer.

Leary said ambassadors will man tables at events, providing information and pamphlets to organizations and folks in the community. If volunteers like public speaking, there are opportunities for public presentations.

Leary said this can be as active a position as you want, and they are looking for many folks all over to help. She said ambassadors will be working with the Suicide Prevention Alliance Network as well.
