ISU continues prioritization process
Idaho State University, along with the other three public universities and college in the state, announced there may be changes coming to their programs .
It’s part of a program prioritization process set up by the State Board of Education, and is spread out over three years.
At ISU, over 104 programs have been identified that need to be addressed, either for improvement, consolidation or elimination.
ISU said the program review process is always ongoing on all of its campuses.
“The colleges and departments spent the last year evaluating their programs and departments based on certain indicators,” said Selena Grace, associate VP for institutional effectiveness. “They made recommendations to their chairs, to the deans, and those came to the provost.”
ISU stresses that the prioritization process is also looking at making additions to its programming.
