ISU’s cyber defense teams promote safety on internet

Four people from seven different schools throughout Idaho and Utah will be defending themselves from hacker scenarios.

The teams will be up against highly trained professionals who will provide sophisticated scenarios. It’s up to the teams to collaborate and work through these various business tasks related to cyber security.

“I think it has such a positive benefit on the community, because everyone has technology now whether it be ipads or smart phones, their desk top, their lap top, Everyone’s connected on the internet. And so many people don’t know how to protect themselves., ” said Information Assurance Analyse Connor Pate of ISU.
