How much more time do you have to send presents?
Monday marks the busiest delivery day of the year for postal services, and the chaos is only getting started. Many people flocked to local UPS and USPS locations to get their presents to their final destinations.
“We’re kind of used to it, this is our time of year to shine,” said Jim Alvord, station manager for the Eagle Rock post office in Idaho Falls.
If you still have not shipped your packages and you’re willing to spend a little extra money, there is another deadline on Wednesday, Dec. 23rd to get the packages there by Christmas.
Postal service workers are asking customers to clear off their sidewalks and driveways to keep their postal workers safe, in addition to having patience and being deligent to make deadlines.
