National Bald Eagle survey to start in January
PINEDALE, Wyo. (AP) – Federal officials are asking for volunteers to help with a national bald eagle survey.
The survey by the federal Bureau of Land Management will begin in Pinedale in January. Volunteers will be given instructions on how to identify bald eagles and details of the survey.
According to the Rock Springs Rocket-Miner (http://tinyurl.com/qjhnc9r ), the survey has been ongoing since 1979. The agency is hoping to determine regional trends.
