How Sen. Marco Rubio’s policies would impact Idaho
Senator Marco Rubio will be making a campaign stop in Idaho Falls Sunday, Mar. 6. Eyewitness News anchor Todd Kunz had a chance to interview the GOP presidential hopeful prior to his visit.
Kunz asked Rubio how he think he will do in the Idaho primary.
They also talked about Idaho being a low wage state and how his policies aim to improve the economy.
The topic of immigration came up with Idaho being such a strong agricultural state and the many workers that may be impacted by immigration reform.
One of Rubio’s opponents has talked about possibly closing down the U.S. Department of Energy as one of many closures. Kunz asked Rubio about the impact this would have on the Idaho National Laboratory and especially Eastern Idaho.
