Teachers taking walk in students’ shoes

Teachers at Jackson Hole High School are taking a new approach to teaching.

Instead of students following the teachers, teachers are following the students.

A teacher or administrator shadows a student for the day to get a better understanding of the students.

“We get so caught up in our own jobs and our boxes of what we’re doing,” Principal Scott Crisp said. “Sometimes we forget about the specifics of the students’ day.”
