Man arrested for DUI, grand theft

Idaho Falls Police arrested 35-year-old Daniel Vazquez-Caudillo for driving under the influence and grand theft following an accident Sunday evening.

Vazquez-Caudillo of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.

According to reports, officers responded to Sunnyside and Holmes around 5 p.m. for a report of a crash. During their investigation, officers found the driver, Vasquez-Caudillo to be under the influence of alcohol.

The vehicle owner told police Vazquez-Caudillo did not have permission to drive the vehicle.
