Idaho Falls woman involved in Utah police chase
(via ABC4 News) An Idaho Falls woman was arrested in Logan, Utah after a high speed chase near Utah University, Saturday morning.
Logan Police said 34-year-old, Dara Pasche, was a passenger in a car that had been stopped for a routine traffic violation.
Police said Pasche and the driver took off on foot during the stop, where police launched a manhunt
Police in Logan are still looking for the man who fled on foot, leaving his female passenger, and his identification behind.
Neighbors who live in the area of the traffic stop said police found Pasche unconscious near a dumpster.
“I live in the bedroom upstairs and we heard the police run down the street and so I peeked out my window and I saw two people run down the driveway,” Witness Janet Toller said.
Pasche is charged with several drug violations and obstructing justice.
A containment was set up in the area and officers from Logan City Police, Utah State University and Cache County Sheriff’s office were involved in the search. Police are not releasing the man’s name until they verify the jacket that had his name on it, and his identification left behind, actually belongs to the person they are looking for.
He is described as a Hispanic male with shaved head and a small thin mustache. He is also believed to be from Idaho.
“Male, Hispanic shaved head, small beard, mustached, like a thin one. He’s got no coat. We recovered his coat and ID. He shed those when he was running for police,” Logan Police Lieutenant Brett Randall said.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
