Traffic Assistant (Sales)

NPG of Idaho, which operates KIFI Local News 8 and KIDK Eyewitness News, is looking for a Traffic Assistant to work in our Idaho Falls office. The traffic assistant provides direct support to the sales department with the goal of serving our customers.

The job requires you to oversee that commercial revenue is maximized by making sure creative instruction is managed, inventory is closely monitored, and product/advertiser/order conflicts are kept to a minimum. Some of the duties include reviewing inventory and logs to alert sales management of available openings, assisting with entry of orders to ensure information pertaining to order billing, revenue and priority coding and overall order entry and/or revisions are completed as needed, assisting Account Executives with preemptions, make-goods and order revisions, producing daily sheets for master control and log preparation and finalization.

You must have excellent time management skills, effective communication skills, computer skills and strong analytical skills. You must also have the ability to prioritize and organize a diverse workload and meet tight deadlines.

The ability to work in a team environment, maintain a positive attitude, good attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are also of the utmost importance.
