Home Invasion Suspect Being Charged After Release from Hospital
The man who had been shot, after breaking and entering in a Rigby home is now being charged, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office.
William L. Shinkle has two counts of aggravated assault, one county of use of a deadly weapon, one count of possession of burglary instruments and one count of a controlled substance.
Each of these counts are felonies that could carry the maximum of five years in the state prison and/or a $5,000 per/count.
Shinkle was arrested in connection to a home invasion shooting at Jefferson County home on, October 27. He was arrested without incident after being released from the hospital.
It is unknown when Shinkle will make his first court appearance in reference to these charges.
The investigation is ongoing and other arrests are pending.
