Be thankful for low gas prices
Motorists who are preparing to travel for Thanksgiving have something to be thankful for, the falling gas prices
AAA projects that 48.7 million Americans will journey 50 miles or more from home this Thanksgiving, an increase of one million travelers compared with last year.
According to GasBuddy prices in 44 of the 50 U.S. states are lower than a week ago. They project the national average gas price this Thanksgiving will be the third lowest in over a decade at $2.11 per gallon.In Idaho Falls prices range from the lowest at $2.24 to the highest $2.45.
AAA estimates U.S. drivers have saved more than $28 billion so far at the pumps this year compared to the same period last year. The 43.5 million Americans planning a Thanksgiving road trip represents an increase of 1.9 percent over last year.
