Three more Preston businesses burglarized
Three more businesses in Preston were burglarized over the weekend.
Preston police chief Ken Geddes said Pop N’ Pins Lanes, Ransom’s Country Store and Sporty’s Pizza were all hit Sunday morning.
The businesses suffered some damage from the break-ins. Geddes said the burglars entered by breaking doors and windows. He said some money was also taken, but did not release specifics.
These recent burglaries now brings the total to eight businesses hit in Preston in just seven weeks.
The five businesses that were burglarized on Oct. 9 were Groll Family Fitness, Tattle’s Bar & Grill, New York Deli, Mis Amores Restaurant and Molly’s Beauty Shop.
Geddes said the police do have a little bit of surveillance video from some of the burglaries that they’re working with. He said it does not appear to be the same person, but he does feel that they are all connected.
Geddes said all of the burglaries are still under investigation.
