Geronimo’s trampoline park opens in Chubbuck

A new business has jumped on to the scene in Chubbuck. Geronimo’s Trampoline Park had its grand opening on Tuesday.

There’s 11,000 square feet of trampolines. Some are straight trampolines, while others have a little extra fun and games added. There’s also dunk ball, a dodge ball court and a battle beam station.

One of the owners, Brett Price, said he got the idea when he traveled long distances with his family to nearby trampoline parks. He wondered why there wasn’t one in Pocatello.

“We started doing our research, we found out that there was a real high need for it,” Price said. “We realized what a great opportunity we have to share this with the Pocatello/Chubbuck community and to hopefully get people involved and get a little exercise and have a little fun while we do it.”

The trampolines are all airbags instead of foam, which Price said makes for a softer landing. He said it’s also easier to keep clean.

He said it’s been exciting for him to see a dream he shared with friends come to life. He partnered with two others to make the dream happen and he’s thrilled to see it complete.

Price said the best part so far has been seeing people’s reactions to the park.

“Really the best part is you get that little kid that comes in the door and they’re just like, ‘Oh my goodness,’ and you’re like, ‘That’s it right there. That’s the key,'” Price said.

Price said there are currently 32 part time employees. He said the entire trampoline park is thoroughly cleaned every night to keep it sanitary. The park also requires “jump socks” which have a special grip for the trampolines on the bottom. The socks help with safety and sanitation also.

Price said this is something that can be fun for the family and for all ages. KIFI/KIDK’s Misty Inglet even put it to the test and had a blast.
