ISU seeking public input on proposed strategic plan statement

The Idaho State University Strategic Planning Working Group released the proposed vision statement for the university’s 2018-2022 University Strategic Plan. Now, ISU is asking for the public for their input to make sure the first phase of this process is going the right direction.

The working group is made up of 50 ISU staff and faculty from multiple facets in the university. The statement reads: “Idaho State University is the university of choice for tomorrow’s leaders, creatively connecting communities, ideas and opportunities.”

Stuart Summers, the associate vice president of ISU’s marketing and communications, said public comment is critical at this stage.

“(The comments) will tell us how we can maybe massage (the statement) a little bit, or how we can focus it,” Summer said. “So we truly are moving the university forward in a way we can be proud of.”

Comments are being accepted by email, you can send them to ieac@isu.edu.
