By Thursday weather should be improving again with some clearing skies and cooler temps. Wednesday, mostly cloudy skies to start and then increasing cloudiness as our next round of winter weather moves in later in the afternoon and overnight. Winds picking up from the southwest at 20-40mph. Chance of snow 50%. Less than half an inch of snow possible in the Snake River Plain. However, 2-4″ of new snow possible over the mountain summits into Utah, Montana and Wyoming. Tonight, snow likely for the Eastern Highlands and across Western Wyoming, but a drying pattern will begin moving into Central Idaho. Temps falling into the 20’s will make roads icy and slick especially into the mountains. Thanksgiving, a mix of sun and clouds with dry weather in the Plain, A few snow showers in Island Park and portions of Wyoming. Highs into the 30’s. Chance of snow 20%. Friday, Partly cloudy skies, with highs into the mid 40’s. Saturday, Increasing cloud cover with evening snow showers. Highs into the mid 40’s with breezy winds. Snow overnight into Sunday, with more scattered snow showers into Sunday afternoon.
