**WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY** Periods of snow will continue into Thursday before clearing out late into the evening. Some sunshine and drier conditions along with colder temps will be the story as we head into the weekend. A COLD blast of air arrives next week, with clearing, cold conditions. Thursday, snow likely especially before lunchtime with scattered snow showers lingering through the afternoon. Highs in the Snake River Plain will hit around 30°. West southwest wind around 5-15 mph. New snow accumulation of 1″-3″ possible. Tonight, snow will begin to taper off with a few light showers over the high country. Partial clearing with chilly temps into the teens. Friday, aside from a few morning flurries and clouds, some clearing skies will allow for peeks of sunshine. Highs into the 20’s. Saturday, A 30 percent chance of snow showers for the afternoon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 30°. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Best chance for snow will be up around Island Park and along the Montana Divide.
