UPDATE: Power has been restored to the west side of Idaho Falls

UPDATE 12/19/16 10:15 p.m: Idaho Falls Power reports power has been restored to more than 1,000 customers on the west side of town as of 10:00 p.m. Monday.

If you are still without power you are asked to call Idaho Falls Power at (208) 612-8348.

UPDATE 12/19/16 9:30 p.m: Idaho Falls power says power has gone out again to more than 1,000 customers on the west side of Idaho Falls.

Crews are working to get power restored and hope to have it back on by 10:30 p.m. Monday.

UPDATE 12/19/16 8:35 p.m: Idaho Falls Power is starting to restore power and asks customers to turn off or unplug appliances so the system isn’t overloaded when power is turned on.

ORIGINAL STORY: Idaho Falls Power says more than 1,000 people are without power on the west side off of Broadway.

Crews are working on restoring power, but don’t know how long it will take to fix the problem.
