Deputies arrest man after car chase in McCammon

A man is in the Bannock County Jail on charges of drug manufacturing/delivery and felony eluding of an officer.

According to Capt. Dan Argyle with Bannock County Sheriff’s Office, Jeffrey Blattner led police on a car chase around 1:40 Sunday morning on Robin Rd. Deputies later threw out spike strips which stopped Blattner’s vehicle. Shortly after, Blattner took off running and deputies used a taser in order to arrest him.

After a drug test showing possible positive levels of meth, Blattner was also arrested for a drug charge.
