FLOOD WARNINGS have been issued along the Snake and Portneuf rivers. All of eastern Idaho is under either a flood watch, advisory or warning through Saturday. Areas of street flooding, runoff and ponding will continue to be a concern. Things remain unsettled through early Saturday before a much drier pattern returns clearing us out and cooling us down.

Friday, Rain likely. Cloudy, with a high near 44°. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Wintry mix possible in the mountain valleys with snow above 7000 feet. EXTREME AVALANCHE DANGER! Friday Night, scattered showers with rain and snow possible. Mostly cloudy skies with dropping temps into the 20’s and 30’s. Breezy southwest winds from 15-25mph. Saturday, A 30% chance of snow during the morning. Mostly cloudy to start and then clearing skies, with a high near 36°. Sunday, areas of morning fog otherwise mostly sunny skies with a high near 30°.
