Three men arrested in Minidoka County drug bust

The Mini-Cassia Drug Task Force, including the Minidoka County Sheriff’s Office, Cassia County Sheriff’s Office, and Rupert Police Department, seized approximately 102 pounds of marijuana Sunday. The task force estimated the street value of the marijuana at approximately $150,000 in bulk form. In smaller quantities, the drugs would have a value approaching $650,000. Minidoka County Sheriff Eric Snarr said three men were arrested.
Doua Chang, 42, of Fresno, California, Sou Cha, 32, of Circle Pines, Minnesota and Cheng Yang, 34, of Manitowoc, Wisconsin were all charged with conspiracy and trafficking in marijuana. Bail for each was set at $250,00 Snarr said the investigation was continuing and no further details would be released at this time.
