Idaho Falls Chamber moving offices

The Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce is moving. The Chamber’s Visitor Information Center on North Capital will be closed Friday while staff moves the center to its new location at 355 River Parkway. Chamber offices will move as soon as space is remodeled for them. CEO Chip Schwarze said the move is intended to better promote tourism in eastern Idaho and meet the growing needs of local residents. The Chamber’s long-term partnership with the Bureau of Land Management and the US Forest Service will continue. The center will continue to offer maps, permits, and gifts. “What an amazing location for a Visitor Center, right across the street from our greenbelt and the falls,” Schwarze said. “I am sure this Visitor’s Center will be something the whole community will be proud of.” In addition to providing tourist information, the new Visitor Center will also feature a gift shop and local souvenirs.
