One person killed and two injured in Bannock County crash

Marc Tendoy, 22, of Fort Hall was killed in a one-vehicle crash on Batiste Road at the Portneuf River, west of Chubbuck at around 8:53 a.m. Thursday. Idaho State Police said Tendoy was driving a 1999 Ford Ranger westbound on the Frontage Road. The pickup went off the left shoulder of the road, lost control and struck a tree on the bank of the Portneuf River. Tendoy and his two passengers, identified as Shantel Martinez, 21, of Pocatello and Gralund Osborne,33, of Pocatello, had to be extricated from the vehicle. Tendoy died at the scene. Martinez and Osborne were transported by ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center. Osborne was later transported to the University of Utah Hospital. Martinez was listed in stable condition at Portneuf. Tendoy and Osborne were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
