Rexburg man cited after dogs found in vehicle
A Rexburg man faces misdemeanor charges after police found dogs locked inside a vehicle Wednesday.
According to police reports, 44-year-old Joseph Russell Hill was charged after dogs were reported to be left alone in his vehicle.
Police said outside air temperatures were 96 degrees and were believed to be between 115 and 120 degrees Fahrenheit inside the vehicle.
Police provided the animals with water until the owner was contacted. Hill was cited for cruelty to animals and released.
