Community heads to Blackfoot for annual East Idaho Spring Classic dog show
The annual East Idaho Spring Classic dog show kicked off on Thursday. People from all over the United States headed to the Blackfoot dog show. Canines competed in everything from obedience to agility to dock diving. While winning a competition is fun, many at the event recognized that the animals care comes before anything else.
“Put the dogs care above all else, the wins and everything else. The wins are great but you have to make sure all these dogs are very happy. when they are traveling, they are healthy, that’s why do all the work that we do, we go to bed last, we eat last. They are the ones dependent upon us,” commented Tammie Wilcox, a professional dog trainer.
The event runs through Sunday. For a schedule of the events, click here.
