Shoshone Falls expects high water flows
The falls should return to Shoshone Falls by Thursday night. According to Southern Idaho Tourism, the Bureau of Reclamation expects Snake River water flow to increase to between 10 and 15,000 cubic-feet-per-second through the middle Snake region and Shoshone Falls. The release of upper Snake water should create a solid 10 days to 2 weeks of flows over Shoshone Falls until summer irrigation begins.
