Two suspects sought for Downey burglary
Update: 6-15 10:05 a.m. The Bannock County Sheriff’s Office has located the vehicle recorded on store surveillance cameras. However, investigators said the truck is no longer a “vehicle-of-interest” in the case. Detectives said they are still looking for any information anyone can provide about the theft. Contact information appears below. Original Story: The”Mart” in Downey was burglarized at approximately 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Bannock County Sheriff’s Office said the burglars stole $2,400 in cash. Two male suspects were captured on surveillance cameras. They are described as being approximately 5’8″ to 5’10” tall, approximately 180 to 210 pounds, and wearing bandanas. The two suspects left the parking lot in an orange to red 1986 to 1991 model year Ford 4-door pickup. The pickup was fitted with an aftermarket lift kit, grille, cattle guard, and auxiliary transfer-refueling tank in the bed. The pickup had a cattle skull symbol imprinted on mudflaps.
