High pressure over the west will continue to move in, heating high temperatures to the upper 80’s and lower 90’s for Sunday and Monday. As the high pressure moves east by Sunday, expect moisture to work up from the South, triggering scattered thunderstorms. A cold front will move into the region Monday evening with scattered thunderstorms and gusty winds for Tuesday. Sunday: Hot and sunny with highs into the upper 80’s and lower 90’s for the Snake River Plain. light winds out of the north at 5-10 mph. Monday: Partly cloudy with highs near 90 and a chance of T-storms in the mountains. Tuesday: Cooler with highs into the upper 70’s and lower 80’s with scattered thunderstorms, gusty winds.
