Thunderstorms are possible today, especially north of Blackfoot for this afternoon and evening. Areas in the Central Mountains as well as near the divide and towards Jackson can also expect thunderstorms as well. Cooler temperatures are expected today along with the cold front that is triggering all the T-storms. More thunderstorm chances are expected for eastern Idaho tomorrow. However, nice weather will prevail for Thursday and Friday. Today: Scattered thunderstorms with highs in the upper 70’s and lower 80’s. South wind 5 to 15 mph, though winds could gust as high as 40-50 mph with nearby T-storms. Tonight: Temperatures near 50 degrees with a chance of thunderstorms. Wednesday: Partly to mostly cloudy with afternoon thunderstorms. High near 80°. Southwest wind 10 to 15. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. Thursday: Sunny with highs into the upper 70’s. Friday: Sunny with highs into the lower 80’s.
