Sediment colors parts of Victor water system

Westside Victor residents may notice some off-color water. City Administrator Olivia Goodale said local construction has caused sediment to rise within the water system. The affected area includes the neighborhoods of Brookside and Willow Creek. Water crews have assessed the situation and determined the water remains safe, but the water may appear brown in color. Residents who notice discolored water are advised to run an outside water nozzle or hose for a few minutes until it runs clear to expel the sediment. Just for the record, Victor City Hall said the situation is not related to the eclipse or the increased number of visitors to Victor.
