Woman charged after attempting to run from police

A woman wanted on multiple arrest warrants was arrested by Pocatello Police after she attempted to drive away from officers at approximately 12:11 a.m. Thursday.

According to reports, police stopped Jennifer Noel Clark, 35, at the intersection of Custer and Buchanan for an expired registration violation. As the officer was finishing writing up a citation, it was learned Clark had 8 outstanding arrest warrants.

Clark fled the traffic stop in her vehicle with a child under the age of 18 with her. She turned from North Lincoln onto West Bonneville, where she crashed into another vehicle.

Clark was taken into custody without further incident and charged with eluding and misdemeanor injury to a child, for endangering the childe that was with her. She was also cited for driving without privileges.

There were no injuries.
